We are looking for an experienced and driven ASHP Design Engineer to join a renewable energy company. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing ASHP installations using H2x software, with proven experience in this area. This role involves overseeing all aspects of ASHP installations, ensuring compliance with industry standards, managing a team of engineers, and maintaining excellent customer satisfaction. Strong technical knowledge, leadership skills, and a commitment to safety and quality are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design & Software Expertise: Create ASHP installation designs using H2x software, ensuring efficiency and compliance with industry standards.
• Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and support a team of engineers and technicians, ensuring they are fully trained, certified, and compliant with regulations.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure all installations meet relevant safety regulations, conduct regular audits, and maintain the highest standards through inspections.
• Project Oversight: Manage the entire ASHP installation process from start to finish, coordinating with different teams to ensure timely and efficient project completion.
• Customer Service: Build and maintain strong client relationships by delivering high-quality service and addressing concerns or complaints effectively.
• Budget & Resource Management: Develop and oversee budgets for installations, ensuring cost-effectiveness and resource efficiency.
• Regulatory Adherence: Stay updated with industry regulations and implement compliance measures within the team.
• Reporting & Performance Monitoring: Provide reports on project progress, team performance, and financial metrics, identifying areas for improvement.
• Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of growth by identifying training needs and implementing development programs to enhance technical knowledge.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a managerial role within the ASHP or renewable energy industry.
• Strong understanding of ASHP regulations, standards, and industry best practices.
• Expertise in H2x software for ASHP design.
• Gas Safe registration.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent project management, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Relevant technical qualifications and certifications.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Valid driving license.
