An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Associate Structural Engineer to join a growing engineering consultancy based in Gloucester.

This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of structural engineering projects across multiple sectors, scales, and materials. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality engineering solutions, managing projects, supporting clients, and leading a team of engineers.

The successful candidate will be responsible for structural engineering design, technical delivery, and contributing to the continued growth of the business.

• Chartered Engineer status with the Institution of Structural Engineers (IStructE).
• Strong knowledge and practical experience working with Eurocodes.
• Experience working with BS8110 would be advantageous.
• Background in structural engineering design across a range of projects and materials.
• Experience with existing building refurbishment projects and Building Safety Cases would be highly beneficial.
• Comfortable working on new-build reinforced concrete structures.
• Experience managing and mentoring a team of engineers.
• Strong client and project team liaison skills.
• Excellent communication skills with a positive and collaborative approach.
• Ability to produce and review technical drawings, reports, and specifications.
