Position Summary
This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Planner to join the operational team. Reporting to both the Operations Director and the Head of Planning, you will provide critical support across major infrastructure, wastewater, highways, and public-sector frameworks. Your expertise in programme management and planning software will help ensure smooth delivery and cost efficiency across projects.
You’ll collaborate closely with the operations, estimating, and design teams, as well as external partners including clients, subcontractors, and engineers. Core duties include identifying key project milestones, managing timelines, updating plans in response to changes, and maintaining accurate records for completed works.
What We're Looking For
Essential Skills & Experience:
At least 3 years’ planning experience in civil engineering, highways, or wastewater projects
HND or degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent qualification)
Hands-on experience with wastewater infrastructure, groundworks, highways, and structures
Advanced user of Primavera P6 software
Strong knowledge of NEC3 and NEC4 contract frameworks
Excellent communicator with strong organisational and problem-solving skills
Background in applying project controls
Desirable:
Familiarity with Microsoft Project

Employment Type: Permanent, full-time
Salary Range: £50,000 - £70,000 per annum
