About The Role*

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Structural Engineer to join a well-established engineering consultancy based in Leicester.

This role offers the opportunity to work on a varied portfolio of structural engineering projects across the commercial, residential, industrial, education, and public sectors. You will be responsible for delivering structural designs, managing your own projects, supervising junior engineers and technicians, and working closely with clients and multidisciplinary teams.

The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, safely, and to the highest technical standards while supporting the continued growth of the business.

About The Candidate*

Degree qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering (BEng/MEng).

A minimum of 5 years' post-graduate experience within structural engineering consultancy.

Chartered Engineer status, or actively working towards chartership through IStructE or ICE.

Strong structural design and analysis experience across steel, reinforced concrete, timber, and masonry.

Proficient in industry-standard structural engineering software.

Experience managing structural engineering projects from concept through to completion.

Ability to supervise and support engineers and technicians.

Excellent communication and client-facing skills.

Experience preparing technical reports, calculations, and engineering documentation.

Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines.

Full UK driving licence.
