CDM Principal Designer Location: Manchester / North West

Salary: Up to £65,000 per annum

The company is a well-established and rapidly growing SME with over 13 years of experience as a Health and Safety Consultancy. They work with major clients across the UK, including the NHS, government buildings, and a wide range of high-profile commercial contracts. With offices in London, Liverpool, Leeds, and across the country, we deliver nationwide coverage and expert support. This particular role is based in Manchester, where you will be working closely with our dedicated Manchester team as part of our continued growth and expansion.

This is a full-time hybrid role for a CDM Principal Designer. The Principal Designer will be responsible for discharging duties under CDM 2015 and supporting compliance with Building Regulations and the Building Safety Act. The role may require occasional travel across the UK.

• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to produce Pre-Construction Information Packs
• Experience in carrying out Design Risk Assessments and appraising designs
• Client-facing with the ability to manage multiple projects
• Proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and other software
• Ability to complete H&S Files and assist in collating Golden Thread information and other documents
• Punctual and strong work ethic
• Ability to work effectively in a team
