An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Structural CAD Technician to join a growing engineering consultancy based in Leicester.

This role offers the opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects across the commercial, residential, industrial, healthcare, and education sectors, with project values over to £10 million.

You will be responsible for producing accurate technical drawings for structural engineering projects, working closely with engineers to develop designs from concept through to construction.

About The Candidate*

A minimum of 2 years' experience within the built environment.

Experience producing structural drawings using AutoCAD.

Experience preparing drawings for structures in steel, reinforced concrete, masonry, timber, and substructures.

Experience producing and revising technical drawings from design briefs and engineer mark-ups.

HNC in Building Studies or a related qualification would be advantageous but is not essential.

Experience using Revit would be beneficial.

Experience detailing reinforced concrete would be advantageous.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
